Armand (AJ) Rodrigues is an Environmental Supervisor and CEM at Geotechnical & Environmental Services, Inc. with over eight years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. AJ was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and received a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). AJ is an avid hiker and spends much of his free time exploring Southern Nevada. AJ is the Chairman for the Nevada Section of AWMA and would love to discuss the benefits our organization could have for you!

Dean is a Senior Geologist, Program Manager, and Regional Manager at Akana in Las Vegas, Nevada and is responsible for technical and project management. He has a BA and MS degree in Geology from Northwestern University and the University of Utah, respectively. Dean has over 25 years of experience developing multi-discipline solutions to complex geo-environmental issues with emphasis on cost-effective risk management strategies. He is a licensed Professional Geologist in California and Utah and a Nevada Certified Environmental Manager. Dean is currently serving as Vice Chair.

Tomo is the Environmental Department Manager at NOVA Geotechnical and Inspection Services/Universal Engineering Sciences with 15 years of experience in the Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Consulting field. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he has since acquired NV Certified Environmental Manager (CEM), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certificates. Tomo is the Treasure for the Nevada Section of AWMA and would love to help out our community.

Clark County Department of Air Quality

While not teaching his grandchildren about the finer things in life, Paul remains actively consulting in air quality and meteorology programs, focusing on air monitoring and quality topics. He is the Nevada Section Chair Emeritus, and is always looking for ideas and leads from interested parties so the Section can keep providing informative talks during our monthly luncheon meetings.
